First time mother, former career nanny, and entrepreneur Lacey Ware is the founder of Kindred. In addition to receiving her Masters of Public Health from the University of Kentucky (GO CATS!), Lacey was a well-respected nanny for more than 10 years in the Bluegrass. Now a mother herself, she understands even more the importance of finding someone you can trust who will help provide the best care for your little ones. Being both a nanny and owning a nanny agency, Lacey realized there was a great need for families and nannies to connect with one another. Her love of community and helping others connect sparked the idea for a nanny agency that went above the traditional standards – providing families and nannies a reliable source for connecting and having the tools for a successful foundation are paramount with each of her placements. Lacey has taken her experience and expertise and created Kindred – a place for families and nannies to connect and feel confident with each placement! Lacey is the “go-to” for in-home childcare in the Bluegrass and is excited to be helping families and nannies in her community.

Becca has been working with Kindred since November 2019, and is the head of our recruiting department. She brings in all of the incredible nannies that we call our own here at Kindred! Her knack for interviewing candidates and her fantastic judgement of character make her the exact person that we need to bring in our top notch talent. Becca is always going above and beyond, and never fails to be diligent in researching each incoming candidate that applies while both getting to know who they are as individuals and learning about their childcare experience. She is a huge part of why we are able to continue growing so rapidly, and we are so grateful to have her. Working with Kindred first as a nanny, Madelyn was intrigued by Lacey’s business strategy and eager to assist in taking Kindred to the next level. Starting her administrative role as an editor, she quickly excelled and grew into her current role overseeing our department of placements. She thrives in the fast-paced work environment, values customer service, and believes in a team approach to her placements. Madelyn is very personable and makes every effort in finding the perfect fit for both families and nannies. Madelyn is infectiously positive and approaches her role each day with a can-do attitude. She is always willing to go the extra mile for our clients and candidates to ensure the best fit possible. Madelyn continues to shine in her role and has become a vital member to the Kindred team.
Morgan is the newest member of Team Kindred. She is a recent Bellarmine University Business School graduate and has taken on the role of Chief Editor and HR Specialist. Formerly a nanny herself, Morgan understands the important factors that nannies look for in a work environment as well as the key qualifications families look for in their children’s caretaker. She carefully reviews and edits the nanny and family profiles and highlights relevant factors of each to help the team ensure both parties are happy with their match. She handles several administrative tasks and works with the team to streamline the application and closing process.
