Lacey has been helping growing families in the Bluegrass find wonderful nannies for over a decade.
After graduating with a Masters of Public Health from the University of Kentucky, she continued her passion of working with children as a career nanny. She quickly realized there was a huge need for families and nannies looking to connect with one another. Her love of community and helping others sparked the idea for a nanny agency that would serve both families and nannies and be a continued resource to ensure a strong working relationships for each placement.
Over ten years later, Kindred has grown to be a local household name when it comes to finding a nanny. With the support of her fantastic team, Kindred now serves multiple cities across the state and continues to be an invaluable resource for families and nannies.
Lacey and her husband Christopher live on their dream farm with their three spirited children, sweet pup, savvy cat, and multiple humorous chickens. You can usually find her planting or weeding in the garden or doing a project with the kids. Lacey is a lifelong learner, loves spending time with her family and close friends, and enjoys yummy food and a good glass of wine.
"My passion is helping people, specifically families and nannies looking for the perfect fit. My favorite part of being in this industry is when a family finds a nanny who becomes an extension of their family!”
Lacey Ware, Founder of Kindred
Becca has been working with Kindred since November 2019, and is the head of our recruiting department. She brings in all of the incredible nannies that we call our own here at Kindred! Her knack for interviewing candidates and her fantastic judgement of character make her the exact person that we need to bring in our top notch talent. Becca is always going above and beyond, and never fails to be diligent in researching each incoming candidate that applies while both getting to know who they are as individuals and learning about their childcare experience. She is a huge part of why we are able to continue growing so rapidly, and we are so grateful to have her. Becca is the reason that we can confidently represent our incoming nannies, and is always there to give our team insight on how to make the most successful placements. She is one in a million!
Jill has been with Kindred since the beginning of summer, 2022, and we could not be more excited that she decided to join our team!
Jill has worked in so many different roles that make her perfect for being one of Kindred's awesome placement coordinators. She spent six years working as a full time nanny, over 10 years working as an "As Needed" sitter, and has most recently become a "Grannanny" to 3 boys. On top of having a significant amount of experience in the childcare world, everything from daycare administration to teaching, she is also a mother herself to her daughter, Lillian. Jill brings so much professionalism, expertise, and outstanding customer service to our business. We are lucky to have her!
Morgan has quickly become an invaluable member of our team here at Kindred, and we could not be more grateful!
Morgan is motivated, dynamic, driven, and is not afraid to dive headfirst into any project set in front of her. Outstanding customer service is something that comes naturally to her. She takes initiative when it comes to proactively helping others, whether that be the families she’s working with, the nannies she’s reaching out to, or with the Kindred team. Morgan has blossomed into her role as our Part Time Placement Coordinator and continues to excel at helping both families and nannies find their perfect fit. She is genuinely invested in understanding each family’s specific needs and works hard to build relationships with our nannies to make rock solid placements! Morgan truly embraces and understands our mission – to bring Kindred spirits together.
Working with Kindred first as a nanny, Madelyn was intrigued by Lacey’s business strategy and eager to assist in taking Kindred to the next level. Starting her administrative role as an editor, she quickly excelled and grew into the role of our department of placements. Now, Madelyn works part time as a team trainer, and is once again working as an administrative assistant. She spends her days implementing new systems, and helping the team - and ultimately families and nannies - enjoy a smooth, quick, high touch journey when they decide to work with Kindred. Madelyn is infectiously positive and approaches her role each day with a can-do attitude. She is always willing to go the extra mile for our clients and candidates to ensure the best fit possible. Madelyn continues to shine in her role and has become a vital member to the Kindred team.
